About Brock Thompson

"The person who was told his voice might never fully return is standing onstage telling stories with it."

Brock Thompson is an Appalachian country artist and songwriter from the hills of West Virginia. His sound and style is carved of real places, people, experiences, and a look at life through the fresh perspective of a country boy from a town that sits between river and rail; Huntington, West Virginia.

His latest single "Best Piece of Junk" keeps a nostalgic focus on the simple things, like a boy's first pickup truck and everything he did to get it. Brock consistently reveals new music on social media as he records his 4th studio project with some of Nashville's most critically acclaimed musicians in Fall 2026.

In 2021, Thompson's career took an unexpected turn when he developed spasmodic dysphonia, a voice disorder that threatened his ability to speak and sing ever again. Through faith, perseverance, and five long years away from the industry, Thompson recovered one day a time, re-located to Nashville, TN, and is actively performing live and recording, once again.

With new music on the horizon, Thompson remains committed to creating songs that resonate with listeners and reflect the country music traditions that inspired him from the beginning.
