Brock Thompson is an up-and-coming country singer/songwriter from Huntington, West Virginia.
Brock lost his voice to Spasmodic Dysphonia in 2021. He is treated with botox injections into the neck which allow him to speak. Singing is a much more demanding task for any voice and Brock can only sing for short windows of time between botox injection cycles. He won't be able to perform or record regularly again until a long term cure is discovered. Learn More at dysphonia.org
"If you're reading this, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for still taking interest in me and my songs after this long, unexpected, unwanted hiatus. My condition is not currently curable, only treatable, and my promise to you is that I'll do everything in my power to be apart of the cure for this terrible disorder. SD affects 1 in 350,000 people, and I won't stop searching until that number is 0. For myself, my fans, and anyone affected by SD, we will beat this together. Wait and watch." - BT
